Tri-County Action Program
Helping Central Minnesotans in times of need 

 As of February 4th, 2014, Governor Dayton has ordered Minnesota's EAP to use 60% of State Median Income (SMI) to determine eligibility for the Energy Assistance Program. This change is retroactive to the beginning of the program year (October 1, 2013).

Tri-County Action Program, Inc. (Tri-CAP) is the federally designated Community Action Program for Benton, Sherburne and Stearns counties in central Minnesota. Programs administered by the agency may serve one or more counties, and in several cases, go beyond the boundaries of the three counties.
