These loan funds may be used to make your home more livable, accessible and energy efficient, in Benton & Sherburne Counties(excluding the City of St.Cloud). All applicants MUST apply for the Energy Assistance Program (EAP) prior to applying for this Home Repair Loan Program.
- 15 Year 0% interest forgivable loan on Real Property.
- 10 Year 0% interest forgivable loan on Mobile Home/Personal Property.
- Own the Property & Principal place of residence
- Current on Property Taxes.
- Current Homeowner's Insurance required on property.
- Maximum Assets of $25,000 (does not include primary residence, personal belongings and 1 vehicle).
- The interest rate is 0%.
- The Maximum loan is $24,999.
- If your house was built 1978 or before lead regulations apply.
- The following Gross Income Limits apply:
